Innovation Is The Key...
Affording our customers access to some of the most modern manufacturing processes available today sets Chapman Engineering apart from the competition.
Dedication to new and innovative manufacturing techniques helps us to make the transition from blueprint to production as streamlined as possible.
With three Mazak Laser Cutting machines from 1000w to 4000w in place, you can be assured that your job will never be late due to work load or machinery breakdowns. Ideal for small pre-preduction runs as well as dimensional "pre-tool" samples, our lasers help prototype your job before it becomes hard-tooled. This allows us to "prove" a new tool prior to production. A tremendous cost savings to you!
Further adding to our high-tech capabilities...
Our Omax WaterJet Machining Center allows us to cut metal (and many other materials) up to 3 inches thick, giving our customers a more accurate option to flame cutting. Likewise, in situations where heat can affect the temper of the material being used such as aluminum, stainless steel and other alloys.
As with our Mazak Laser, the waterjet provides a highly economical means of producing a part that would not require conventional tooling.
Focusing On The Future...
We are always adding new equipment to what is allready one of the most modern contract manufacturing companies in the country.
We now have the West Coast's first Hammerle production part flattening machine. The Hammerle Production part flattening machine has become a mainstay in our shop. This technology all but eliminates the need for dual disc grinding when the "flattness" of a part is of high importance. For parts such as sprockets, clutches and brake discs, the Hammerle maintains strict flattness tolerances.
